the rounding out the holiday season finds me at my last and final project idea. with so much snow in different locations around the world.. i desided to make a cloth and beaded snowflake ornament for this christmas Year. it's a beaded snowflake design on the front with the year 2010 embroarderyed on the back. my first design to try. hope you enjoy and have a safe a happy holiday.

my christmas gifts

I've been working on christmas gifts for this year. it will be here before we know it. here's a couple pics of what i'm doing. Bulb Angels ornaments made from night lights and a couple boy cloth dolls, they where a request from my grand daughters. well I'm away to work a few more gifts have a good one..... a crafting I have been

yes I've been away.. crafting my little short fat fingers to the bone. why you may wonder,,,, well i was inspired by Sherry and Ron Byrum, craftiness in art work, and with permission i made by using their example of their clay witchy spider,, I took my needle in hand and created my own Witchy Spider from cloth. she's not as grand as theirs, but she does have a bit of magic about her all her own. she's in a party mood with her bows on her shoes and earrings dangleing. she's iut for a Halloween goody and it could be YOU! enjoy Happy Crafting, Lady DragonRose

food for thought

Just sitting here thinking I really need to break loose and follow my inner desires of cloth doll making... break loose and let my imagenation free. been checking out other blogs and find myself drawn to the witchy side of creating. must be cause it's getting closer to Halloween.. I've always enjoyed making my ladies and my dragons... and i like doing things my own way,,lol so with that said.. I'm off to create and design and play to see where my mind takes me. so crooked paths here I come.. Happy Crafting. TC

updates 8/29/10

Well we all moved and I got things semi sorted in my work room. I'm in a crafting mood today, so I'm clearing off a spot and continuing on the new pixie I started before we moved. I got to feel supplies in my hands so I can relax.. back to playing updates soon.. Happy Crafting,, Lady DragonRose

just a couple pics of my newest doll,, he has no name yet,, but he's cloth with a wired arms, legs and fingers,, and his head moves, his hair/fur is alpaca. he stands/sits about 6 inches.. he sits well on shelfs or your monitor, but be ware he's so light weight he'd be gone in a blink of and eye, he's sneaky can't you tell.. and yes he's forsale. enjoy, {{He now has a Name}}

Have not been in in awhile i was busy crafting a new doll and just when i tried to take pics my cameria died. Bummer but i did take a pic with my web cam,, it's not the best pic. but wanted to share. this is Sys Clops Chef, stands 6 1/2 inches from base to tip of hair, All cloth. cloth plate with salt dough food items, he's all set with his spoon. not sure he likes the healthy food choices,, i was reminded Cyclops rather sheep, and or humans to munch on,, that could be why he's sticking out his tongue .
Sys Clops Chef was designed by myself and the features were advised by my 10 year old son, Nate. he now says i need to make a lady to go with him. what ya think,,
